Private swimming lessons in Geneva

A private swimming instructor for one swimmer, or two
VP Swimschool teaches swimming in Geneva in very small formats: one swimmer per instructor, or exactly two in a semi-private lesson.
The instructor is in the water throughout the lesson and adapts every exercise to the swimmer’s age, level and confidence. Lessons are available in English and in French.
Lessons take place at the Bains de Cressy, Route de Loëx 99, in Confignon near Geneva. Up to and including age 5, a lesson lasts 30 minutes at CHF 60; for children over 5, teens and adults, it lengthens to 45 minutes. Two swimmers of a compatible level can also share a semi-private lesson, and every format comes as a pack of 10, valid for 3 months from purchase.

At the Bains de Cressy in Confignon, an indoor pool under a glass roof with water kept at 34 °C. Lessons can also take place in your own pool at home, on request.
Schools, international schools and nurseries: we build swimming programmes for institutions, with small groups and pedagogical follow-up. Companies, hotels and relocation agencies can also work with us. Partnerships.

Frequently asked questions
Can two children share a lesson?
Yes. A semi-private lesson brings together exactly two swimmers of a compatible level for 30 minutes: CHF 90 in total per lesson, or CHF 850 in total for a pack of 10.
I have never learnt to swim as an adult. Is that a problem?
Not at all. One-to-one lessons start from where you are, with no group to keep up with.
Can the swimming instructor come to our home pool?
Yes. A 30-minute private lesson in your own pool costs CHF 90, whatever the swimmer’s age, or CHF 850 for a pack of 10 lessons valid for 3 months from purchase.
Is there an app?
Enrolled families can use the VP Swimschool iPhone app, currently in private testing and by invitation only, to see upcoming lessons, pack balances and their child’s progress through the five-step Aquatic Passport. App page (in French)
